The short version
Play as much as you like, for free. Don't abuse the service, don't rip off our games, and be decent. The rest is detail.
Your account
Accounts are optional. If you create one, keep your credentials to yourself — you're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used to abuse the service (automated play-count inflation, scraping, attacks, or attempts to access other users' data).
Our content
All games, artwork, characters, and branding on Joycrate are original works owned by us. You may play them here freely; you may not copy, redistribute, embed, or sell them without written permission. Short gameplay clips and screenshots for reviews or social media are welcome with a link back.
Availability
The service is provided “as is”, free of charge. We work hard to keep it up, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may add, change, or retire games at any time. Where a game stores progress, progress may be reset by updates in rare cases.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continuing to use Joycrate after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions? Contact hello@joycrate.example.
